How It All Began — A Divine Appointment
Roselyn Van Dyk’s divine assignment as a Christian author began with a moment that could only be explained as the hand of God. One ordinary day, while visiting a Uniting Christ bookstore, she stood quietly among the shelves when, without reaching for it, a book miraculously landed in her left hand. The title was Pastor Benny Hinn’s Good Morning Holy Spirit. This was no accident, no coincidence — it was the Holy Spirit Himself placing into her hands the very tool that would ignite her calling.
From that day forward, Pastor Benny Hinn became her spiritual mentor — not because of the man, but because of the power of the Holy Spirit flowing through his writings. As Roselyn read, the Holy Spirit began to teach her, comfort her, and awaken in her a deep knowing that this was more than just a good Christian book. It was a prophetic sign, a divine signal from Heaven that book writing was her God-given assignment.
In that holy moment at the bookstore, the Lord marked Roselyn’s life. She understood that her pulpit would not be a traditional platform, but the written page. From then on, she embraced her faith journey as an author — writing to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to testify of His goodness, and to reach nations she may never visit in person, one reader and one book at a time.

My Calling — How Jesus Book Ministry Began
In 2004, at an amphitheatre in Gold Coast, Australia, I received God’s unmistakable calling. As Pastor Kerrin laid hands on me, the presence of the Holy Spirit overshadowed me, and I knew my life would never be the same again. In that holy moment, the Lord began to draw my heart back to Him and to the purpose He had written over my life.
Soon after, the Holy Spirit led me to the Cairns Christian Bookstore. The moment I walked through the door, I burst into tears and asked if someone could pray for me. Olive, the pastor’s wife, and another dear lady took me to the back of the store and prayed over me as I wept and surrendered my life to Jesus. There, surrounded by shelves of Christian books, I received my salvation and was born again.
In that same year, the Lord also sent a divine messenger named Nong Tonio, who spoke God’s call to me through a mobile phone. Through these confirmations, God gently but firmly made His will known. My late sister and I both became born-again, answers to the many years my mother had prayed for her daughters to return to their roots in Christ.
Over time, the Lord revealed that my divine assignment was to write books that testify of His goodness, power, and love. What began in a Christian bookstore became a lifelong calling to fill the world with faith-filled words. By His grace, I have now written more than 42 Christian books, available on the Amazon Kindle Store, all dedicated to lifting up the name of Jesus and strengthening the faith of His people.

My Story — How God Called Me
My Calling Began in 2004
My faith journey began in 2004 when I received God’s calling. I encountered our Almighty Father, who spoke to me in an audible voice at the Amphi Theatre in Gold Coast, Australia, where Pastor Kerrin laid hands on me.
My Salvation at Cairns Christian Bookstore
One day, for reasons I did not yet understand, I was drawn to the Cairns Christian Bookstore. As soon as I walked in, I burst into tears. I asked if there was a reverend, pastor, or priest who could pray for me. I was deeply convicted of my sins — I had been reading horoscopes, visiting psychics, and engaging in other practices my mother had always warned us against. At the back of the bookstore, two ladies prayed for me as I cried out loud and asked the Lord to be my Savior. The inside of my spirit became pure. My life changed. Those two prayer ladies were my witnesses — vessels of honour assigned by the Holy Spirit.
Books Were Always My Divine Assignment
Now I can see why I became so passionate about book writing — it was my divine mission and assignment that God placed in my heart, planned before the foundation of the world. I found my salvation in a bookstore, not in a church. Since then, I have collected countless anointed books, and they fill my prayer room like a library. Those books became the reference and inspiration for the books I write today.
Why I Write
I am promoting my Christian books, available on Amazon Kindle Store, as part of fulfilling my divine assignment to share my testimonies of divine encounters. My heart is not for sales, but for souls — this is simply the way I can place these messages into people’s hands, reaching one soul at a time.
