Enter his gates with thanksgiving.
and his courts with praise;
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good, and his love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations.
1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
“Thank you” are two words we believe everyone enjoys hearing, including God. A thankful heart is refreshing! It feels good to both give and receive sincere thanks. We believe that it blesses the heart of God when His children open their hearts and share genuine, heartfelt, sincere appreciation.
In the United States, they give thanks nationwide each year in November. They celebrate Thanksgiving and a special day set aside with family and friends to thank God for His many BLESSINGS. While they enjoy the tradition, they know there is no way they could reserve all their thanks to God for one day as believers. Since I live in Australia, we don’t have this celebration. Still, we also have our traditions during Christmas and daily life. There is also a church service where they can sing and worship the Lord. Other people may be in their houses during whatever occasion they have.
Just like you, we’re in the heartfelt habit of giving God thanks, PRAISE, and adoration every day as we worship Him for what He does for us, what He has done for humankind, and what He will continue to do for us individually as we put Him first and apply His principles.
Thankfulness blesses God! And it also has a way of setting the stage for advancement. One way to get into the spirit of thanksgiving is to get out of your comfort zone and start doing what Psalms 147:7 says, “Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praises upon the harp unto God.” It brings our life into the completion of the finished work of JESUS Christ is done. You moved to thank Him, singing Him before Him because of all He has done. He finished all the work and did it!
So now, we know what you think. You’ve always said thank you to God, but you don’t often sing it! I sing it when I worship, follow the worship song, and sometimes drive a car with a worship song. How about you? Singing takes a special effort. It’s not about opening your mouth, but your heart, too.
Remember that God loves you to hear your voice, even if nobody else does! When I attended Hillsong church. I found out that when people are singing, we sing it loud. It might sound noisy, but full of energy, joy, and excitement. People are clapping and lifting their hands, which are full of combustion or uplifting. The band plays so loud, and clanging cymbal instruments are used with guitars and other devices that make the worship song more alive and uplifting.
So, sing it out loud. Something extraordinary happens when we let go of our apprehension, open our hearts, and sing thanks to God quietly before Him. We open the door to hear from God and advance whenever we create an intimate atmosphere with Him.
I will encourage you to focus on the power of Thanksgiving and see it as a way to advance in life. As you draw close to God each day and put His Word to work with a thankful heart, we know you will reach new heights in your walk with God and your success as a believer. God bless you as you ADVANCE in the good life God has for you! It’s the sudden manifestation when you set the Thanksgiving time and wait as we pray. It must be heard, and it’s not going to be a sudden result if there is no honor because our faith is not an incompletion of the finished work of JESUS on the cross.
I don’t let the enemy of my soul that believes like this produce greed or covetousness. Covetousness is of the flesh. Covenant is of the Spirit. It’s saying, “God, I believe in YOU and what You say. My impossible is turning to possible, and I’m saying “thank you” now before I can see it.” I can feel and be aware of it! When the time comes, these desires will be in my heart. I will tell this as part of the pages of my books and become my testimony. Alright, Lord!
Can’t you sense the power rising as you read this? I allow my faith to come up. I know it’s not a denial, but it’s a delay. Therefore, I already anticipate and allow thankfulness to rise in my heart. Oh Lord, while writing this part, I seemed inspired to do it!
Thanksgiving may be an official American holiday every November when the first Christian fleet from Europe because of persecution. But I believe that whether you live in the Philippines, Australia, or anywhere in the world. You can still celebrate the blessings of the Lord and make your own “Thanksgiving Day.” whether you have chicken or turkey, you can offer. Fine! There are still the blessings of the Lord in your life. You can find joy and passion in His Presence. God is good and wants you to have His best spiritually, physically, and financially.
Expressing your gratitude to God can make a big difference in your life. Let’s begin each day by giving Him thanks, not just Thanksgiving Day, but every day. Every morning when I open the Bible, Psalm 100 or other Psalms are always my password; before I spend my time with God,
I remember to honor God. To take His hand and dance out my praise. To sing and shout, declaring my thankfulness for all He’s done, and then boasting of his greatness to others. Even in the past years of tests and trials, I praise you even when I feel low or physically cannot do much. Yahweh is a matter of my heart, and I honor and celebrate you. But once the stress has lifted, I will keep and celebrate with you, with all my strength, song, dance, and shout of praise. Father Yahweh, you deserve to be praised and adored for your faithfulness. Thank you for the Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit guiding and directing me in writing my books. I am just the vessel of honor, but you do the work behind the scenes of doing it. USE GOD’S WORD for prayer. When you open the Bible and pray, there is always revelation, knowledge, and rhema.
