POWERFUL OF BEING THANKFUL

POWER OF BEING THANKFUL

Praise, worship, and thanksgiving are some of the simplest we can do, yet they are powerful spiritual dynamics.

Psalm 30:4, “Sings to the Lord, O you saints of His and give thank at the remembrance of Hsi holy name.”

They are types of prayer because they are expressions of our hearts toward the Lord. It enhances and empowers our prayer lives by keeping our hearts focused on the Lord instead of ourselves. They allow us to connect with God passionately and encounter His Presence in our everyday lives. We do not need to wait for a church service or a corporate gathering to experience praise, worship, and thanksgiving. We can incorporate them into everything we do all day long.

When we praise, worship, or give thanks, we talk to God, which is all prayer. The spiritual weapons God gives us to use in our lives are tremendous blessings for which we can be grateful. One crucial weapon at our disposal is praise and thanksgiving.

Prayer is born out of a relationship with God. It is coming and asking for help, always for use, and always remembering to praise Him for all His goodness. It is talking to God about something that bothers us. It is fellowship, friendship, and an opportunity to express gratitude for all God is and does. Suppose you want to have a practical prayer life. We develop an excellent personal relationship with the Lord and trust that He loves us, that He is full of mercy and grace, and that He will help us when we need him in times of crisis when we ask.

Praise defeats the enemy of our soul, but it must be genuine, heartful praise, not just lip service or a method being tried to see if it works. Regarding recognition, all other types of prayer involve the Word of God. We praise God according to His Word and His goodness.

But when we understand that every blessing we receive is only because of the grace of God and never because we deserve it, our hearts are transformed. Therefore, we are filled with gratitude for the goodness of God. However, nothing can cause us to overflow with thanksgiving and praise more than a revelation of God’s grace poured out upon our lives.

However, if you think you and we deserve what we receive from God because we have earned it through good works, Our amount of prayer, daily Bible reading, and giving, then we would not be thankful or grateful. Contrarily, we will think that whatever blessing we receive is proof of our holiness and sanctification. He blesses us because He loves us. I thank God for His perfect and unconditional love.
