We PRAISE, and all other forms of worship involve the Word. We PRAISE God according to His Word and goodness.

Prayer is born out of the relationship with God. It is coming, asking for help, and always remembering to PRAISE Him for His goodness. It talks to God about something He has done and answers our prayers. It is talking to God about something that bothers us. It is a fellowship, friendship, and intimacy and an opportunity to express gratitude for all God is and does in our lives. Suppose you want to have a practical prayer life. You develop an excellent personal relationship with the Lord. Trust that He loves you with mercy and grace and will help you when you ask.
Every time I pray in the morning, Psalm 100 is my password in His Presence during my prayer time, and he asks that I want to live each day in amazement of all He has done for me. It helps me incorporate PRAISE and prayer into my daily walk with Him.
Therefore, when I open my Bible during prayer time, it is my habit to read Psalm 100. One of the quickest ways to get into the presence of God is through PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING, as I suggest playing worship and spiritual songs. I wait first in His Presence; I prepare by putting the faith-filled materials on the table, ready to be used. You may ask. How come you know that God is listening? I learned from my mentors, with the lead of the Holy Spirit, to illuminate me with the obscurity of the Word of God. There are in the anointing faith-filled materials and the Bible. It’s not only that you do the talking. It’s like talking to a friend. That’s how I have prayed in the past years. It’s a conversation between two people. I learned that our praying life is more enjoyable when you talk like FATHER and daughter or son of God. It’s not a litany and rosary like the other Christian denominations.
Before the Psalmist said anything about seeking the Lord, he said, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His PRAISE shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together” (Psalm 34:1-3). He is talking about praise and gratitude due to his praise and thanks to God, and he entered God’s presence.
He says, “The ANGEL OF THE LORD encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man to those who fear Him. The young lion lacks and suffers hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good things” (v. 7-10).
The Psalmist reveals the way to our ever-needing me, not lacking anything: We seek the Lord and develop a face-to-face relationship with the Creator of the universe. We are to enter His Presence and bask in it. People’s needs are met when I see God coming on the scene in the Bible and when I read my faith-filled materials. Whenever I see God manifest Himself in any situation, more wants or needs appear. In other words, when God shows up, things change.
When we enter the presence of God and the things we may be going through, we feel we have hope. Knowing that God is present and we have hIm at our disposal changes our perspective and attitude. That’s the reason I always pray and read the Bible. I also listen to CDs and read the faith-filled materials I collected from the five-fold ministries or anointing Christian authors. I expect the Lord to give me revelation and knowledge about those sentences and sermons, even if I listen in the afternoon or evening while sleeping. God speaks to me through the anointing of preachers and authors.
That’s why the Psalmist said, I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears, and But those who see the Lord shall not lack any good thing (Psalm 34:4, 10). Seeking the Lord to enter His presence is not only an act of the will. It’s also an act of faith.
“Be careful about nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. (Phil. 4:6).
In AMP, “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.”
Your prayers ought to be part of thanksgiving. Paul made it clear how essential it is to be thankful to God. It is wise to enter God’s presence with thanksgiving and make it the first you can do. It’s like when you meet someone for the first time and want to say “Hello,” How are you? You wouldn’t be rude to blurt it out; I have these problems and troubles. Hey! I want to talk to you about my needs. In other words, we must be polite before we introduce ourselves, ask them how their family is and how they are, and talk with them for a bit. Right! Of course it would! Engaging in an introductory conversation is a courtesy and a sign of respect. As for me, when I happen to be in the prayer closet. I wait, and then, “Good Morning, Lord? What is our plan today? Any message that you want to say to me. So, I open the Bible, which I always do. There is always an advantage to opening the Bible, not putting it on the bookshelf and coffee table. I wait for His Presence.
Of course, you want to ask me. What! I can’t see God I have to wait for Him. I usually do it in the morning. I learned this from Benny Hinn, Jerry Savelle, and others. I want to share it with you. The best entrance is playing the Worship PRAISE Song. I must say, maybe not the rock and noisy one but the soft and solemn one. Then, I read this Psalm 100. Later on, the other Psalms. It’s like inviting the Lord to come to His throne of grace. Thanksgiving carries a lot of weight and glory. Psalm 100:4.
When God observes an attitude of gratitude in us, it moves Him.
God wants the same kind of courtesy and respect. When you go into your prayer closet, he appreciates it when you start your prayers by thanking Him. We thank Him for who He is and for what He has done.
