DON’T MISS THE TREASURE

As oppression, corruption, disease, and persecution, disease and persecution permeate our world. Psalm 10:1 says, “Why, Lord, do you stand far off? You felt the psalmist with this scripture.
At a time in my life, when my loved ones’ trials, turmoil, death, and aches and pain emotionally and physically seem to obscure everything and everyone else, God can seem afar. I would feel like, what’s wrong? And I feel abandoned by God, except I know He has said in His Word, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So, we may confidently say, “The Lord is my helper” (Hebrew 13:5-6). So I place my faith in His Word, not my feelings and situation. And that when I discover the Treasure…
- In the darkness– See Isaiah 45:3-7- You receive encouragement and examples of spiritual and moral darkness in the world, family, church, jobs, and marriage,? What is the treasure in the darkness?
- In the desert: spiritual desert. Can you think of a time when you were spiritually dry, cut off from all that was familiar, yet you freshly met God? Have you discovered the treasure in your desert?
- In the cloud-When, have you been oppressed by clouds of confusion or temptation, disappointment or depression, loneliness or grief? An example of this is the people in Exodus, Jonah in the dark, and what was his testimony in Jonah, Daniel in Daniel’s story, Lazarus, and more. Have you been a treasure in your cloud?
- The storm in life- disease, death, divorce, disaster, persecution, relation, or other storms- has come into your life. See Proverbs 1:27. For all the stories in the Bible. What do you learn about descriptions from the following definitions: Job 40:6, Nahum 1:3, Proverbs 25? Luke 8:22-25? You learn from Jesus ‘example in Luke 22-25. When the storms break, do you have eyes to see the treasure.?
- On the mountain-While mountains can represent peaks and high points and difficulties, obstacles, hurdles, and hardships.
What treasure are you missing because you are too weary or busy to climb the mountain? When in darkness, the desert, the cloud, the storm, or facing a peak, don’t miss the TREASURE. Open your eyes to Jesus.
Upon I looking back! I can see in my eyes faith! I would never seek God and spend my time with the Lord. I may take it for granted. Yes, I got that and that! I don’t need that and that. I got it all in the bags. What is the use if I got those monies, accolades, glamour in life, accomplishments trophies, achievements, popularity, and applause but am spiritually bankrupt? So, I felt glad about all those adversities. The test becomes testimonies, and the mess becomes a message that I can write here in this book or in my other books or nothing to tell and write. The invention is different. Maybe, fiction for a novel but through what I went through. I can say now. God, you are real, valid, authentic, genuine, concreted, and established that you are the God of this Universe. The Father of Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac. YES! You are not a legend. I experienced them in my faith journey. It’s a narrow road, not a wide road, but I am glad I am your witness for being a Sovereign God. Thank you for being my God, NOT the other diety. I can talk to you! Thank you for knowing You. So, I am ready to share about you with others. https://amazon.com/author/roselynvandyk, https://roselynvandyksatamazon.wordpress, Books for sale at Amazon Kindle Store.
