who is jehovah, jesus, and holy spiritJESUS said to them. It would have been more profitable for them if He had gone away and sent them the Holy Spirit. When you become born again, you have been involved with the Holy Spirit since you first heard the good news that JESUS took your place and paid the penalty of your sins. However, it was the Holy Spirit, through the Word, who made the truth that JESUS was raised from the dead, and it becomes a reality in your heart.
Romans 10:19 says, “That if thou shalt confess with the mouth the Lord JESUS, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (KJV)
1 Corinthians 12:3 also states that no man says, JESUS IS LORD except the Holy Ghost. JESUS came to make it possible for a man to receive the nature of God-eternal life (John 10:10). You see, JESUS could not get a man born again while He was on the earth. He had the power to forgive sins, but there could be no new creature until JESUS paid the sin price at the cross in Calvary and became the firstborn from the dead.
John 16:7, 12-15, says, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is suitable for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you…I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive mine and show it into you. All things that the FATHER hath are mine and shall show it unto you.” (KJV).
Now, when I am writing this topic. It’s the revelation knowledge to let me know more and more about my Teacher. I may read this a lot about the Holy Spirit, but I still need to know more. For those who are reading this as prompting. Let’s learn more together about the most important part of Trinity.
It was the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit that made JESUS Lord over your life. The Holy Spirit came upon you and overshadowed you, just as He did Mary when there was conceived her a “holy thing” (Luke 1:35).
You were born again into a new life- a new spirit. You were born of God. “Believed, now are we the sons of God” (1 John 3:2). The spiritual death was eradicated from your spirit. 1 John 5:1 says, “whosoever believeth that JESUS is the Christ is born of God.” God became your FATHER by spiritual birth.
The Bible says, “Be filled with Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18). If you are filled with the Spirit, then you are going to produce the fruit of the Spirit, which is “love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance” (Galatians 5:22-23). It is a command to be filled with the Spirit. It has to be obeyed and a duty to be done. It is not optional!
God loves us, and He wants to bless us abundantly. His plan for our lives exceeds anything we could ever hope or dream (Ephesians 3:20). By His Spirit, He strengthens us where we are weak, imparts wisdom when we’re confused, and directs us when we’re lost.
As JESUS said, the Holy Spirit would be in close intimacy and fellowship with us throughout our lives. He stated in John 16:7, “However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you (into close fellowship with you.” (AMP). The Holy Spirit has been sent as a precious promise to us Christians, for we cannot do it by ourselves.
