THE POWER OF PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING TO GOD

When we give God thanks and PRAISE the way the Bible tells us, we release supernatural authority over whatever situation we face. God knows that you have encountered a lot of various conditions. Biblical thanksgiving is not a worldly vacation, holiday tradition, or religious activity. Instead, it’s an uncomplicated spiritual tool that we can use to stay on top and defeat into self-pity. He wants to tempt us to get us into self-pity, the “poor me” and pity-party, so that he can ruin our lives.
I get it, and I know it sometimes goes against our nature as human beings to be grateful when things don’t seem to be working out. It’s so tempting to get into a cycle of complaining, murmuring, and focusing on what’s going on in our lives. However, I encourage you to go ahead and live the way God wants you to live and be determined to be happy and content despite your circumstances.

And they lifted their voices and said, JESUS, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass that, as they went, they were cleansed.
Giving thanks is a vital part of the Prayer of Petition and Answered Prayer. God favors people who have an attitude of gratitude. You cannot begin and end this prayer without thanking the ONE who makes it all possible.
I am writing my prayer of petition and journalling my vision because of the point of contact to release my faith. Luke tells the story of a sick woman with blood issues whom JESUS healed. She saw JESUS in a crowd and believed that she would be made whole if she could only touch His clothes (See Mark 5:28). That was her point of contact to release her faith. When the centurion asked JESUS to heal his servant, be believed JESUS could do it simply by saying the word (see Matthew 8:8).
