ALPHA AND OMEGA
Isaiah 44:6-8 says, “For the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of host says this, I AM THE FIRST, AND I AM THE LAST, AND THERE IS NO GOD BESIDES ME. WHO IS LIKE ME? LET HIM PROCLAIM IT AND DECLARE IT; YES, LET HIM CONFRONT ME” (KJV).
Yahweh is our Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscience God. He is the One and Only, The First and the Last. The Everlasting I AM. The Immutable Jehovah, The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the Ending.
Everything begins with the One who always was and always will be. JEHOVAH is the God of mystery, wonder, and endless wisdom. His throne is eternal, secure, and strong. He rules the entire universe, yet his devotion to his beloved is unrelenting. He knows us inside and out. He knows our thoughts. Throughout every generation, his Word remains true.
Even though our lives are fleeting moments upon the earth, God’s love extends throughout eternity, for we have been chosen and elected before the foundation of the world. He has loved us and known us before time. He knew exactly how we would turn out and saw our failures and flaws. Yet still, he chose us to be his very own.
Beloved, you were His desires all along. Our FATHER in heaven is the first, last, and everything in between. He knows us before the foundation of the world. (see Psalm 139). He is the God of wonder. He is still the small voice that whispers from deep within. He is even the one who whispers to me what to write in this book. He is the writer, teacher, guide, comforter, director, and friend. There is no denying His power and grace. It will take all eternity to discover the greatness of His glory fully. I am undone by these limited encounters-trinkets of splendor and majesty that nothing compared to the glory yet to be revealed.
Knowing and using these various names for God allows us to appreciate His character’s different features or aspects. It puts our hearts in alignment with Him. So, it’s a time for us to PRAISE, adore and worship Him.
The name says it all! I KNOW GOD IS BY HIS NAME!

Who is JESUS? He is the LORD of HOSTS, MY LORD, AND SAVIOUR.
