communion with Jesus
7 KEYS TO MOUNTAIN-MOVING PRAYER
As I went through this book. I got prompting from the Holy Spirit to include this essential subject. I learned much from my mentor, Pastor Benny Hinn, for several years, in 2007. So, I found this “A Word For Your Day” entitled “Communion With Our Precious Lord JESUS.” I will extract this article and paraphrase it for you to read in 2009.
In the wall of this secret place or closet has this giant art print, designed exclusively for Benny Hinn’s partners in BHM Ministry. This art print chart that I glued against the wall reminds us how the Lord is the center of our lives and homes. His teaching shares poignant and touching memories from his beginnings that led to a worldwide ministry. He candidly told about his increasingly deep steps of commitment in learning to seek God with his whole heart in prayer. These powerful teachings, filled with fresh enlightenment insight, offer prayer warriors seven keys to reaching intimate, mountain-moving prayer. Every time I have communion with the Lord for all those years, it reminds me. I’ve discovered the most effective steps to communicate with our Lord JESUS. All those teachings and other ministries with which I partnered are similar. The art print has been specially created for us. I pray that God will use them to motivate and inspire you to draw closer to Him as you ask, seek, and knock.
Another thing that I also remembered for all those years is how vital it is to have those “tallit” as well as being provided for us as partners. The “tallit or prayer shawl ” is mentioned in the Scriptures. Most prominently in the Old Testament book (See Numbers 15:38-39). I’ve got two specific BLESSINGS in the name of God (JEHOVAH). Healing Scriptures were sewn into the garment, then spoken and verbalized before putting on the prayer shawl. The wearer wrapped themself in the Word of God.
It will enrich our prayer life and celebrate our heritage of God’s presence, BLESSING, healing, and financial favor. I pray the Lord will bless us as I spend countless hours of fellowship, wrapped in His Holy Presence.
I have to say, and traditionally, the prayer shawl is also given as a gift on special occasions in Jewish and Christian cultures. Of course, that is if you have and available to you.
You may think it’s for the Jews only. We’re born again to that point; everyone believing in JESUS had been Jewish. My mother used to tell me that we were the modern Israelites in the past. Please pardon me, I didn’t understand before, but I know now since I became a saved or born-again Christian.
James 5:16, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (KJV)
So, I got this art print chart and other articles newsletter from Benny Hinn regarding this mountain-moving prayer. I usually followed based on this painting chart. The description of this chart is a big picture of the big door, then a wall with climbing plants. It would be a BLESSING and a witness to all who see it. Not many people see it because I am the only one inside regularly in my secret place of the Highest. But, I am just explaining this for you to picture with your vision and imagination in your prayer room.
- Get alone with God (Psalm 42:2)
- Begin with worship. (Psalm 100:1-4)
- Discover God’s will (1 John 5:14)
- Pray every day. (Psalm 55:17)
- Confess your sins (Hebrew 10:19-22)
- Maintain a living faith (Mark 11:23)
- Pray in the name of JESUS (John 14:13)
- THREE REALMS OF PRAYER
Matthew 7:7-8 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seek finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” (KJV)
As I studied this subject of being in God’s Presence. The Old Testament gives a representation of entering into His Presence. This representation leads us from the Outer Court to the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies.
So, in this transition, the Lord presents three prayer realms: asking, the realms of seeking, and the realm of knocking. Each subject has a unique purpose in obtaining direct access to the throne room.
God’s direction guided Moses. He built the Tabernacle as worship in the wilderness and built three defined areas.
Outer Court was surrounded by linen fencing in this area, and within it stood the altar sacrifice and the laver.
Holy Place found the candlestick, the table showbread, and the table incense.
Holy of Holies is the Ark of the Covenant and the golden censer.
In the Tabernacle are revealed the three realms of prayer and the presence of God.
1. OUTER COURT-this is the realm of asking.
I am asking where we begin and what results in abiding in Christ as JESUS said, “Everyone that asketh receiveth” (Matthew 7:7). If you stay in me. My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7).
In the outer court, that’s when we start to ask. This is where we make requests known to Him. “Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6. (KJV)
My first walk with God was exactly where I asked and received. This is also where we come to the Lord and tell Him our desires and needs. We are overwhelmed with our lives. We don’t know what to do. Where can I go from when we are born Christian or as a believer? It is also where His blood cleanses us as we confess our sins, and that’s when we find Him faithful and to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). In the outer court, we see the altar of sacrifice, where the work of the cross and the blood of JESUS are utilized.
This is where we find the laver, the Word of God, and in this realm of prayer, we remind the Lord of His promises. We ask a request according to His will and His Word. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, he heareth us” (1 John 5:14).
In Psalm 119:2, David cried, “Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and seek him with the whole heart.”
The outer court, where we make requests, fights the enemy and our desires. You see, it is the outside of where God is. So, there is no quickening power there, no presence of God; it is a place of the altar of sacrifice and confession of sin.
However, this is where too many people stop their prayers and seek God. They may confess their sins, and they ask for help. As they say, “Amen,” but stop. They leave before experiencing the victory found inside the second realm, the HOLY PLACE! I also presumed this is where you can find so much pressure and heaviness.
Only when we wait in the outer court and overcome the flesh in this first realm are we granted the privilege of progressively moving forward to the next domain.
2. THE HOLY PLACE-The realm of seeking.
In the Holy Place, the seeking realm stood the candlestick on one side and the table of showbread on the other. As the high priest entered and looked toward the veil, he saw the incense table.
This is the place where the ark of the covenant was kept. The ark represented God’s presence in Israel. Only the high priest was permitted to enter the Holy Place. God commanded the priests to burn incense on the golden altar every morning and evening, the exact times the daily offerings were made. The fragrance was to be left burning continually throughout the day and night as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
The incense was a symbol, especially of the prayers and intercession of the people going up to God as a sweet fragrance. God seeks before He seeks! We cannot seek God until He has sought us. We all want to seek God, but beginning this process in the flesh will bring failure.
God wanted His dwelling to be a place where people could be drawn to approach Him and pray for Him.
We must wait until He quickens us. That is what happens when we enter into the first realm of prayer.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, captivity, and all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.” (Jeremiah 29:13-14). (KJV)
Seeking the Lord, finding Him, and finding the fullness of your liberty will cause your heart to be filled with His Word. However, it will cause you to worship and prepare you for the most extraordinary privilege a Christian will ever know to the knocking world. That’s when you are motivated to have prosperity and deliverance from spiritual bondage, healing, and BLESSING.
You keep hearing revelation come once you heard five years ago. There’s the light that comes; keep hearing it until it hits you, so what happens when it comes to healing? Then, something happens; it doesn’t move you when you get sick. I learned almost 18 years ago, but I didn’t understand. I keep hearing the Word of God through anointed, faith-filled materials and the preachers. Then the light comes in. It becomes a lifetime. Faith comes from hearing, and hearing comes from the Word of God (See Romans 10:17). The Word is the blueprint. I can see myself when I spend with the Word.
3. HOLY OF HOLIES- The realm of knocking
When you wait upon the Lord, even if you’re exhausted and worn down, you begin to experience a newfound strength.
“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31).
Suddenly, spiritual strength is restored. Since you’re so tired and weary after the spiritual journey, all the tiredness you felt in the Outer Court and Holy Place starts to go and depart. You become aware that you’re progressively drawn into God’s presence.
“Now, therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace n thy sight.” (Exodus 33:13). That’s when Moses understood, and we can say, “That I may know thee.”
As David wrote, the third realm becomes a reality, “BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD (Psalm 46:10).
As you can read, we find asking, requesting, and activity in the outer court, the first realm. We have seeking and mediation in the Holy Place, the second realm. But in the Holy Holies, the third realm, we experienced tranquillity, quietness, calmness, peace, and serenity.
In this realm, there is His Presence that overwhelms me. I became soaked with tears that I couldn’t understand in those days. My heart cries out for more of JESUS. It was hard work, and there was no vacation there. I’ve been in the Presence of God. There comes the point that I start trusting the mirror (Bible). It reflects.
Note: I run a website focused on faith-based Christian inspirational reads and spiritual resources in Australia, aiming to foster a community of believers who seek guidance and encouragement in their daily lives. I create book reviews, reading recommendations, Bible study guides, and accurate lists of uplifting titles designed to help readers grow in their faith journey, deepen their understanding of scripture, and find solace in their spiritual practices. I plan to recommend relevant books available on Amazon.com.au (Australia Kindle store) by including affiliate links in my reviews and lists, earning a commission on qualifying purchases while providing genuine value to my readers. This initiative not only allows me to sustain the website but also ensures that the proceeds will be directed towards charitable endeavors, as a percentage of the earnings will be given to certified charities and donations, supporting those in need within our local communities and beyond, thereby embodying the core Christian principle of serving others with love and generosity.
Reviews and feedbacks is valuable to me. Thank you. Jesus Book Ministry -editor
