I decided to this blog or articles as excerpted from my books about relationship and marriage that last and still love one another. Why? This is a real story and also met two elderly couples who are becoming so use to their own ways, it seemed lost it’s steam. So, I will let it SPARKS with the love that brings joy to our marriage.

Why I am prompted to post these books that are very appropriate for those who have a long time of marriage but are still in love is due to the profound and enduring connections that can develop over the years. Marriage is a journey that evolves; as time passes, couples often face various challenges and changes that can impact their relationship. You know, I have no neighbors who are elderly. The lady is 77 years old, and her husband is 81 years old. So, every time, I came to talk to her, she seemed to be very agitated because her husband have dementia or losing his mind. Due to her comments about his shortcomings I told her. You should be happy that you are still together for 59 years because if something happens to him, then what? As for me, we have somebody to talk with and simply togetherness so, let us spend out time with them her husband and my husband until the end. Do you want to be alone? Look at my marriage with disabled husband, I am glad that he is helping me in many things that I have somebody to talk to and companion.
Then, yesterday, it’s my shopping time. I always goes to Woolworth and Coles Shoppimg center for our grocery. The same elderly couple, that I always met. When I happened to talk to this lady. What I usually heard from her, complaints about her husband that this and that. I said, hey he is still around. He turned 91 years old. I don’t know if these husbands are difficult of whatever, they can still do their own by having shower, gardening and walk. The same things, you should be happy because you have company. Supposing he is gone what do you do? You still have somebody around you to talk with from bad to worst. I know they have all kinds of physical issues. Who does? Being older has more physical problems than the younger ones BUT the younger generations has more demands in their issues of life. Social medias, work, and among other things. You know!

So, today my husband (84+) years old, and I were choosing the movie program. We saw this already but we want to watch it again. The title of this movie is NOTEBOOK (Diary of a husband where his wife has Alzhemer’s disease. An old man James Garner (actor), reads a love story of a poor and passionate young man (Ryan Gosling-actor), who falls for a wealthy young woman (Rachel Mc Adams-actress) from a faded notebook to a woman with Alzhemer’s disease which gives her a sense of freedom.
