Is Christianity supposed to be expressed by long faces, sad, dry, boring, dull, and lifeless? Why must be our spiritual experience by sad music and somber church rituals? Certainly not!
We are supposed to be happier. Jesus and His disciples lived under the new covenant. He told them to rejoice that their names were written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, which applies to everyone who believes in Jesus (see Luke 10:20 NKJV; Revelation 21:27). According to Romans 15:13, we who believe in Christ are full of hope, joy, and peace. That’s the reason enough for us to be excited and rejoice! Today is the day that you have made, and I say rejoice.
The bottom line is that the old covenant brings bondage, a covenant of work based on self-performance, self-struggling, self-striving, and laboring to be acceptable to God. Beforehand, that kind of covenant steals our joy and peace. But the new covenant brings liberty, and the old covenant brings bondage. The law is full of demands and demands, while grace is given and given abundantly—also, supply and supply.
He gave me a message in a phenomenon way and told me in 2004 over the phone about my God’s call. I hope my story as a witness or “evidence or confirmation.” This power of the Holy Spirit in you can transform your life into evidence for the world that Jesus has been resurrected from the dead and is alive today.
Christianity may not make you popular in a world that feasts immorality, strife, divisions, terrorism, materialism, and self-indulgence, but it will set you apart. However, it will get you noticed. It may even cause you to be ridiculed and insulted. They think you are a peculiar person. My mother has been persecuted and rejected by friends, relatives, and neighbors, but she persisted and never gave up. Friends have left my brother, who is not even part of their group. But he continued despite what they encountered, even if it was happening in their church.
But that’s only the part of the picture the enemy wants you to believe will define your story. God has something planned for you.
His mercy and grace saturate us when we walk harmoniously with the Lord. We aren’t affected by harsh words because our hearts shift from defensive to compassionate. We know Him intimately. Sometimes, we got discouraged and disappointed, but we responded with sufficient grace with thee! We appear genuine and stable, and people notice. Soon, our enemies are willing to listen, and our persecutors observe that we don’t move, even being pricked by the slander of others. Before, I couldn’t figure out that I’d been isolated and secluded for years. My husband is being used as my companion during my silent years! Now, I can understand. Thanks to God for the revelation of knowledge. I was being set apart from the snare of the slanders of people. I got away from that and never felt lonely and bored. I am preoccupied with the Word of God and fellowship with God.
I was being empowered by wisdom and compassion. I want to live honestly above reproach so others will be drawn to share what I went through with my testimony and message. So, don’t get discouraged if your friends leave you. God will never leave you nor forsake you. He is just protecting you (see Psalm 31).
Authentic encounter initiates real Christians. It’s the power of the kingdom lighting upon our hearts. It’s the sovereignty of Christ that truly changes us. Christianity is the intimacy with God; you know Him because of spending time with Him.
In the same way, Jesus asks us to release this reality to others. It isn’t a burden to let what naturally happens is us flow from us. There is no pressure to convince and persuade people since we only release what’s become real as we pour our experience, not our knowledge, studied theology and divinity. Living this way means offering substance instead of theory, as I learned from my Bible study. The power of our authenticity is revealed when we trust in the reality of His Kingdom within us because it’s been made undeniably real to us. We have fellowship with the Lord.
To be God the glory, I did first when they read this book on their hands. So, the others will encounter God’s love and embrace their Christ identity as who they are in Jesus. I want to live authentically, offering the reality of His presence that draws all men to Him through this book.
As Christians, we are called to be the light of the world. We’re also the express image of God on this earth. Inside of us is a well ready to overflow with truth, hope, and compassion. Be a well of refreshing and look for opportunities to encourage people. I asked if you have ever had strangers inexplicably open up to you. I had experience talking about her past on the train. Maybe you’ve problems, fears, sickness and disease, domestic violence, and other issues. Please don’t ignore them because they’re drawn to your answer. As Christians, we learn to love everyone, especially the unlovable, in our sphere of influence and let the sound flow!
So, I asked the Lord to help me never hide what I believe but never force the truth on anyone. Teaching me how to bless others by writing this book and how I write, express myself, live, speak to others, and interact. I pray I will not be ashamed of my relationship with Him because I have never been ashamed of myself.
In other words, being a Christian is not only being in the frenzy of the church but also reflecting on what we do, and people take notice of our reactions and doings.
