We all long to hear God speak to us personally and have Him speak to us audibly. I do mention this in this book. As you read further, I was in Upper Coomera Amphi-Theatre with three witnesses, Kerrin, The pastor, Kay, and Sue, behind me. It was evident that I could hear the Father when I received the message about my preparation and divine assignment. Still, I have to wait and be patient. Then, while walking on the footpath and crossing the road at Livingstone St. While listening to Creflo Dollar CDs, I heard this small voice that said, “I love you! Three times, there was no one around except me.
“And the sheep recognize the true Shepherd’s voice, for he calls his name and leads them out, for they belong to him. And when he has brought out all his sheep, he walks ahead of them, and they will follow him, for they are familiar with his voice. But they will run away from strangers and never follow them because they know it’s the voice of a stranger.” (TPT).
In its purest and obsolete form, prayer is a love relationship with Father God. It’s the privilege of soaring to the very throne room of Father God to touch His face. It’s an intimate and enjoyable relationship, not a religious activity. We’re thirsty for the Word of God, and our souls are starved for this sense of awe to speak and to hear from the living God who loves us and is waiting to share His heart with us.
Our true worship is so much more than offering a song of praise. It is more than a dance of joy. It is more than religious tradition, reciting Scriptures in the gathering of people. It’s in the surrendered hearts. It’s an offering of kindness in place of apathy and boredom. It is practicing mercy instead of judgment but thinking of others as much as you feel about yourself.
We live a life of yielded to love as we align our attitudes, beliefs, and actions with God’s kingdom ways. We are living as a fragrant offering of the purest worship. Let them wonder how the unhindered connection between Spirit and soul fills our hearts. We keep our hearts connected to Him and cannot go wrong.
Intimacy does not exist when our relationship is built on the one-way type of speech. When I pray to God, I know we will speak and listen. So, when I practice two-way prayer, listening carefully and humbly, you’ll hear Him speak. However, this prophetic interchange is not just limited to verbal communication. You can also expect to encounter what I have experienced in various ways. As you read this book, I discuss some of my experiences.
Sometimes, I talked too much like a machine gun tatt…rattatt, gemme, gemme Lord, hurry up! Then, like I am choking up out of a voice of some sort …As if God would say, now! I can talk to you. Just be quiet so you can LISTEN to my still, small voice! It’s a learning process. It’s the quietness that you can hear!
However, when you hear Him, this divine encounter will always do two things.
- It transforms and changes us.
- It will give us ammunition or weaponry for spiritual warfare.
- It increases our faith
- It gives us confidence
- It guarantees healing, deliverance, righteousness, wholeness, protection, and redemption.
- It gives us peace and joy
- It brings clarity
- It gives us something to grasp when every circumstance contradicts our faith.
- It is the place of His presence where peace is found
The Father will only speak to and pray through me as I enter into prayer. I will become one who hears from God in a secret place during alone time with Him.
PSALM 91-In the secret place, I will discover His heart! Also, this is the time and place where I will be trusted with strategic prayer assignments.
Our tools for ministry must include a consistent life of worshipping. And you will see revelation from Him as much as it is when speaking to Him (Isaiah 50:4-5). I ask Him to anoint my ear when I listen to CDs and other audible devices. I received marvelous revelations, and a deeper understanding of the Scriptures awaits when I ask. I usually say with a smiling face, “WOW, SPOT ON!” I am lingering in His presence; it will happen if you’re busy and have many tasks to do in a day. You can focus or have no time to do it. Better make time and, if possible, don’t look at the clock the better, but I think many people have many schedules to do in a day. That’s why I am very grateful I am not working in the workforce, for I’ve been retired for years. So, it’s better to have early morning schedules while everyone sleeps. The most successful Christians have the Bible opened during worship time.
I usually relied upon the word of God through my five-fold ministry faith-filled materials. So, I just had a partnership with Kenneth Copeland and others. I based on their anointing faith-filled teaching materials.
You will hear His voice. Our Lord is the Mysteries” great “Revealer (Daniel 2:29, 47). And He will reveal so much more when you come to Him with a seeking heart.
When we need to focus on our lives, God’s voice cuts through the clutter and disturbances in this world. God illuminates His will for us with perfect clarity. With all the many problems worldwide, especially the COVID-19 pandemic, if there was ever a time we needed to hear from God, it is right now. God wants to lead, direct, and guide us as we should; the right results come from being led by the Holy Spirit. Our success, BLESSINGS, prosperity, victory, deliverance, and many things concerning His will for our lives are invested in hearing from Him. We can listen to the word of the Lord when we have maintained a personal relationship with Christ, and listening for the Holy Spirit to speak to our hearts and confirm the prophetic words we hear will reveal God’s will for us as His children. When we hear His powerful voice, there will be no mistaking who it is; hearing Him speak to us out loud strengthens our faith.
Christianity is not a religion but fellowship and intimacy with God. You can know Him and give you joy, for you know He is guiding and directing you through the leading of the Holy Spirit of God.
